The room was very clean, and parking was plenty and near the door.

The hotel staff were very friendly - even recommending their favorite place to get barbeque and printing out directions to get there. What a special treat my night at the Sheraton turned out to be. All I wanted was a place to rest my head. After reading some of the reviews, I had set myself up to believe that this hotel would suffice for an overnight, but to not get too excited about staying there. We arrived at the Four Points Sheraton after driving all night from New York to Columbus and then flying from Columbus to Kansas City. Hotwire lists them as 3 1/2 stars at the airport. I've stayed there twice now, and had the same experience - a very good night's sleep at a well run hotel. All in all, this is the ONLY hotel I would ever stay at, if overnighting at KCI. The rooms are updated, clean, and the bed is pretty good. The on site restaurant and bar are better than the in-house restaurant at a lot of hotels. The common areas are updated, clean and nice. The owners know how to run a hotel, and they spent a LOT of money renovating the place. So when I was booked at the Four Points at the KCI Airport by Hotwire, I didn't know what to expect. Sheraton seems to slap this brand on anything, and doesn't seem to enforce any standards for Four Points franchisees. I have low expectations for airport hotels, and similarly low expectations for Sheraton's Four Points brand - it is the most inconsistent hotel brand I know - some are nice and some are awful.
